Private Cultural Performances
An exclusive traditional dance performance staged in the comfort of your hotel.
Curated Private Journey
The most "Ceylon" of all the journeys, colonial planter bungalows, mist on the hills, and the world's finest tea country, for the guest who came for exactly this. The Planter's Trail is a curated 8-day journey created for anglophiles, older couples, and slow-travel romantics who associate the island with Ceylon. Best season January to March.

Why we curated it

Day by Day
A starting point. We tweak, swap, or redesign every day around you.
Your chauffeur meets you at arrivals for the drive directly to Kandy, settling into Mountbatten, a colonial planter's bungalow above the city.
An evening worship ceremony, a fitting introduction to the cultural weight of the days ahead.
The drive from the airport takes you directly to Kandy, where you settle into Mountbatten before the evening pooja at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth.
A slower, greener start to the day at Peradeniya.
Around Kandy Lake and the old city itself, deliberately left without much of an agenda.
A morning at Peradeniya is followed by an unhurried afternoon around Kandy Lake, the day left without much of an agenda.
The road climbing steadily as Kandy's lower hills give way to the working estates around Hatton.
Through the working tea gardens on arrival at Ceylon Tea Trails.
The climb into tea country takes up the morning, with the afternoon left for a guided estate walk on arrival at Ceylon Tea Trails.
Seeing the leaf processed from pluck to cup.
The lake views, or a second, shorter walk if you'd like one.
With no travel to account for, the second day is spent entirely on the estate, a private factory tour and tasting in the morning and an unhurried afternoon after.
On the drive up to Nuwara Eliya, still known locally as Little England.
The traditional hour for it.
The drive up to Nuwara Eliya brings you to Gregory Lake before a colonial-style high tea rounds out the afternoon, the night spent at Goatfell, a tea bungalow set high in the surrounding hills.
A viewpoint named for the tea magnate Sir Thomas Lipton, the view best caught before the mist burns off.
One of the more celebrated rail journeys in the country.
Settling in for two nights at Nine Skies.
An early start for Lipton's Seat is followed by the scenic train ride down to Ella and an afternoon at the Nine Arch Bridge, settling in for two nights at Nine Skies.
No fixed plans in Ella itself.
Before the descent back to the coast tomorrow.
No fixed plans, just a slow day in Ella, with the option of a short walk or more time around the bungalow before the descent back down tomorrow.
Itself scenic, tea country giving way gradually to the lowlands.
The drive back down from the hills to the airport is itself scenic, with enough time built in for an unhurried final morning before the longer run to the coast.
Everything included
